Ecovisit offers hybrid cars with a driver; Cyclo Bulle provides electric tricycles that work with a meter, just like classic taxis, and can be hailed in the street. Urban Cab offers a similar service, and sub-brands of the large cab companies—Taxis Bleus and G7—offer hybrid cars which run on bio-fuel.
Hotels are also following the movement: Hotel InterContinental Paris Avenue Marceau provides electric (and trendy!) Solex mopeds.
Even tours and organised visits are joining the trend: Ecovisit offers guided tours in a hybrid car that explain the green side of the city; Cyclo Bulle, Vélotac&Cie and Paris Charms & Secrets are other green tour options; and don’t forget City Segway Tours, whose visits are pretty self-explanatory!
Finally, in September 2010, 4 roues sous 1 parapluie, a company which has been offering the mythical 2CV car for years, presented the first electric 2CV prototype, a green second life for a car created in 1948!
