Focus Group are double celebration: on the one hand have just launched the Barcelona International Theatre (BIT) and, last but not least, this year marks its 25th anniversary. Joan Còdol tells us how were these years.
The BIT, very briefly, is a project that wants to drive from Barcelona International and multilingual production of the performing arts. Eighteen European and American art institutions such as the National Dramatic Center of Madrid, Deneuve York Lincoln Center Festival, the Teatro General San Martin in Buenos Aires or the Young Vic Theatre in London among others, have partnered with the Focus Group initiative that has the support of the City of Barcelona, Ramon Llull Institute, the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Ministry of Culture.
