Industry professionals have been hailing the rise of virtual events as a key trend for this year of lower budgets and increased green attitudes. Well… the trend seems to be only starting now, with the vast majority of professionals never having planned or even attended a virtual event. Every trend needs early adopters, and these figures do not mean the trend is unreal. But virtual events are still very far from being a common solution, and face-to-face definitely rules!
