- Urban pride, the tendency of increasing local culture and pride about one’s city, and for brand to develop city-related products, will no doubt apply in city-related events and happenings.
- Real-time reviews, with consumers rating brands and experiences in real time, will also apply to concerts, trade shows, congresses. Don’t ever organise a mediocre event any more!
- Limited locations, with brands offering stores specific to one city (not far from popup stores) confirms the trend of offering experiences to consumers. And these every happening stores no doubt must offer… happenings!
- Mass mingling will be good news for people worried about Facebook stealing the audience of our events: people will spend more time than ever on networking sites… but will also need to organise encounters and events with their Facebook friends.
