There were 4 upstream events organised in Germany and the launch conference in Valencia, Spain, where 120 field and office employees participated. For one year, delegates turned into journalists. They were to cover the story of history writing. They were the protagonists of this success story. It was their task to document the history using simple means and methods. These allowed them to experience and capture the new era of the company and the new field of therapy and from a reporter’s perspective.

The central feed within the concept “We write History” is the racking reporter “Flink”. He was present in all the events leading to the final trip to Valencia, following the delegates and providing them with hints and clues to “write history”. He also provided the blend of pleasure, excitement and learning.

The launch conference in Valencia was a five-day event that brought together the achieved information and put the knowledge in practice. Different perspectives and angles were used to reflect on the core messages, facts and figures. The information was filtered, interpreted and the newspaper “Xarelto News” created. The delegates received the newspaper on the last day and were able to read about their visit in Valencia as well as the collected columns: their experience in Campo Anibal, a historic Finka, and a party in the America’s Cup harbour followed by tracking the footsteps of monks at the Monasterio de la Cartuja. The final event, the press ball was the emotional highlight of the week. The launch was official, the journalists had written and been part of history making, and an overall ideal foundation for yet another success Bayer story.
