Take advantage of the season’s flowers to create wrapping and suggesting atmospheres in your Autumn events... Country atmosphere Create a natural ambience with a combination of Autumn flowers, such as the agapanthus, mainly lilac, but also in blue and white varieties; dill, with small golden flowers, with a feathery foliage and long stalks; chrysanthemums –very versatile, and one or two orchids for a sophisticated touch. Mix them with branches, herbs and ferns, long and hanging, to give a fountain effect. Use small and simple china containers in white or soft, neutral tones. Celebrate Autumn’s diversity with an elegant and bright floral design! Play with autumnal tones Open the doors to the season and take advantage of the richness of its colours to decorate your venue. Apply them to the decorative elements of your event: earthy tones, like red, orange, lilac, in crockery, cuttlery, furniture, carpets and candles. Use flowers with bold colours such as rose mallow, yellow and reddish and add branches with bushy foliage. Use wooden containers. Natural sophistication Coffee, cream, honey, ginger, wine… Autumn also brings suggesting tones to create sophisticated atmospheres. Choose a minimal and discreet decoration in neutral tones. Flowers also have their own attractive textures. For an urban look choose alstroemeria, with its yellow, spotted petals; helenium, orange toned flowers, best massed in a loose informal group and combined with ferns and branches; or limonium, with an airy, hazy appearance, silver coloured, by itself or combined with colourful flowers. An atmosphere of contrast, with bright and coloured flowers mixed with neutral toned, sober furniture and decoration. Autumn zen Autumn is a time of abundance: dry fruits, such as chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, and fruits of the forest in bright and colourful tones... Combine the rich colours of the fruits of the season with an oriental style. Choose warm colours, such as red berries or burgundy, the green of the leaves under the rain... Enliven them with white crhysanthemums, pumpkin or red coloured dhalias on bamboo-stems for an oriental feel or inside simple china bowls on big green leaves to give a zen touch.
