Photos should be sent via multimedia SMS to the opponent team. For this type of activity necessary skills are team work, tactics and understanding of the urban environment. Time travel The key is to find the adequate location to develop the game, in this case a medieval village to take participants on a trip through Time. As teams of pilgrims, they have to discover a lost holy relic Via GPS or mobile phone they will receive a series of messages and clues that will guide them along. With this game, players learn not only about history but also about the importance of team communication and collaboration. In a videogame The idea is to recreate a classic videogame in the city streets. The adventure takes participants to solve a series of enigmas directed by other participants, called “the controllers”. Each team has two players: the controller and the playmate. Via mobile phone, the playmate is guided by his controllers who informs him of the exact location of the opponents. This way, the team develops a key role in helping each other and promotes collaboration and complicity among the team members. Virtual reality Virtual reality is a technology in full development and is designing very creative activities with the sensation of “reality”. An idea: the goal of the game is to destroy the central database of a big virtual corporation. Different teams are sent on a simulated treasure hunt where they compete for items that will allow them to decode a secret password enabling them to destroy the database. While the “desktop-player” supplies the outdoor player with information, the player outdoors actually has to run around to find and collect the hidden items. Information is transmitted via GPS-receiver or mobile phone. But as different as the games are, they all have one thing in common: it is all about connecting and communicating with one another!
