Actividades: Decoration Like any theme event, decoration is key apart from planning related activities for the event. Put high potted green plants to bring out the labyrinth setting. Complement them with exaggerated large-sized flowers and butterflies, you can even make them in a theme colour (e.g. silver) or in different bright cheerful colours. The point is to make them larger than life so as to create the feeling of being in fantasy world. Lighting is important. Work with your lighting company to create an ambience with purple, blue, pink... make the atmosphere as surreal as possible. You can also hang mini silver disco ball ornaments around to reflect any light that may fall on them... they give the impression like little dew drops. Having a cocktail area? Why not have some plush velvet gold couches for your guests to lounge in as they immerse themselves in fantasy world? You can place colour-wrapped candies on the cocktail tables for decorations and to tantalise the sweet tooth. Of course, candles will also add a strong mysterious touch. Place them in various places of your venue, some of them on old-style candleholders. Also, play with dry ice that gives the smoke effect, that will contribute even more to the mysterious setting. Activities Dress up models as Tinkerbell-type fairies, silver dress, wings and a magic wand. Let them greet your guests, pose for photos and bring out the ambience of a fantasy world. If your budget allows for more costume, the waiters and waitresses can be dressed as elves and fairies! Work with your caterer to dress up the food or name the food according to the theme. Even a special cocktail concoction for the evening is a fresh potion for the event. Present your program or menu as a magic fan or wand for your guests to play with. Have the caterer to mount them on a stick and voila! This will keep your guests busy for awhile! For a parting souvenir, why not a little "magic" crystal ball with your corporate / event logo printed on it?
