Bring on the clowns, jugglers and stilt-walkers to bring on the smiles and give cheers to the ambience. Rent coin-operated rides (cars, animals, mini ferris wheel...) to thrill your guests. Or some shooting stands where the guests can go shooting some bandits or baits. They not look good as decoration but give good fun to your guests. Construct an entrance arch with colourful balloon and streamers. They are relatively cheap decoration options and attractive at the same time. Instead of the usual floral centrepiece, why not make them BIGGER and eye appealing by mixing floral, balloons and coloured paper. Be creative and get the festive mood into the event. Get a marching band to start the entertainment of the evening. If space is a constraint, you can just get a band of drummers drumming in with luminuos drumsticks; dim the lights and enjoy the unusual display of moving sticks.
