- A lot of information is available online about the destination and its specifics that may or may not be suitable for their programme
- Procurements departments require multiple bids form suppliers for the best price
- Many industry professionals combine the experiences of being the planner and the supplier and therefore are familiar with different pricing models.
- The public and shareholders can perceive meetings as an unnecessary expense that only provides the attendees with a paid holiday.
