Light it up For a night event, you can enhance the exterior of the tent with lighting: intelligent lights with projections of logos and motifs, colour washes,… It will definitely create an impressive and impactful visual image to your guests upon arrival. Dressing the interior One of the most commonly used decoration to hide the structure beams of the tent on the inside is to use tent liners: drapes of cloth, white or coloured and of different textures, they enhance the decoration of a tent by “being” the ceiling and walls of the venue. Tent liners come in different materials, from polyesters to satin, for example. Ensure that the material used are inflammable. Besides lighting up the exterior, interior lighting is just as important to get the desired setting for your event. With the same application of projection of logos and motifs and colour washes onto the drapes hung as the ceiling and walls, you can create a sensation that envelops the guests as they walk into the tent. However, ensure that the suspension of the light fixtures are well hidden and safely installed. Put lighting right from the entrance to the end of the tent, like providing a narrower lighted walkway into the wider and spacious interior of the tent enhance the “entry” experience into the tent. Provide a door The entrance door is the first and the last encounter people have when entering and exiting a tent or fabric structure. And during cold weather, it blocks the cold from coming in. Go basic by having a drape at the entrance. You can hang a colourful one complete with motifs or simply a logo. Or go complete by installing an aluminium door designed specially to fit into tents. You can even choose between a clear tempered glass door or custom made a stained glass one complete with colours. Also available are smoked glass window panels and sliding glass doors. Choose a dramatic shape Dramatic tents do well. Far more than just a means to carve out an event space, tents are being used as dramatic event elements themselves: the striking silhouette created by high-peak tents is a hot trend these days.
