It’s exciting time for China: all things points to growth both in economic contributions and infrastructure developments. As a first impression, one can only be impressed by the modern skyscrapers, the iconic Oriental Pearl tower and the conference and exhibition facilities that the city offers.
But, as much as the “hardware” is in place, there is still the lack of “software” – qualified MICE professionals, high service standards and know-how in managing MICE activities. However, if all predictions and forecasts are right, the Chinese will learn these soft skills over the next few years.
