INAGURACIÓN DE LA CIUDAD DEL VINO

1200 invitados y 200 periodistas fueron testigos del insólito vuelo de 3 telas de 14m situadas en lo alto del edificio de Frank Ghery, propulsadas por turbinas de aire. La Coral de Vitoria deleitó con piezas de la ópera Nabuco, abrigada por un escenario de media concha diseñado para el acto.
La bailarina culminó su actuación con la suelta de 200 globos de helio que volaron cielo abierto hasta fundirse en la lejanía. Consiguiendo trasladar simbólicamente la fiesta de la inauguración al mundo entero.
Una hilera de telas propulsadas por turbinas dibujaba el camino a seguir por los invitados y una pantalla LED, la misma que sirvió para ver el recorrido de S.M. El Rey indicaba que el cóctel tomaría comienzo.
