Description

The Petit Palace is located in the emblematic Palau de la Musica Catalana de Barcelona, modernist building that has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. Offically opened in 2004, it has a capacity for 539 persons for all types of business, social and cultural events, thanks to the most advanced technology and audiovisual equipment. The meeting room of the Petit Palace has, in addition, an optimal acoustic for all types of shows, through its sophisticated mobile panels-located in the roof and in the spaces between buttresses of the lateral right - which allow a perfect variable acoustic. All the audio and video systems are controlled centrally through a touch screen located in a control cabin. The meeting room has a audio and video signal distribution system for press and mobile units for radio and television.

Additional information: Durante la temporada 2006-07 el Palau ha tenido una actividad extraordinaria. Alrededor de un millón de personas han asistido a los conciertos que se celebran o han participado en las visitas arquitectónicas. A los 12 ciclos musicales que proyecta y patrocina la Fundación Orfeó Catalá-Palau de la Música, se suman los organizados por los promotores externos. . La celebración del Centenario en 2008 comportará también un ciclo musical propio.
