In a potent mix of music, design, psychedelia, culture and a creativity that will take your breath away, be on the lookout for Bhūtarāh [UNVRS]. In a beastly bring of 60's psychedelia, LSD and Timothy Leary's "turn on, tune in, drop out", acid house or Bill Graham's projections at Fillmore West, Dan Popper and elrow practically manage to create a collective ritual fusing contemporary art, symbolic narrative and technology.

Six worlds: from Bhūtarāh to the closing party

Bhūtarāh debuts this summer in the self-styled “world’s first hyperclub” – [UNVRS] – developed by The Night League as we told you in its presentation last year. The point of the club is its combination of architecture, technology and production systems with the ability to create fully immersive environments where sound, light, visuals and scenography operate as a unified language, and turn the dance floor into a living ecosystem where nature, energy and human interaction converge.

This year’s season incorporates six rotating themes throughout the summer until closing on October 3. There will be six experiences: Hallucinarium, a psychedelic journey through mind and perception; Neo Kaos Garden, a futuristic reinterpretation where the organic and digital worlds collide; the subway and inverted world of Delusionville; and Nowmads: New World, a narrative of exploration in which communities of the future build new realities through creativity and survival; and finally, a surprise theme for the closing party.

Who is Dan Popper?

Known for his monumental sculptures, Popper has developed a language of his own in which the human figure, organic imagery and an almost sacred dimension transform spaces into immersive environments. His works, presented at festivals and large-scale projects such as Afrikaburn, Boom Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival or Electric Forest, often function as stages, portals or sensory architectures.

In Bhūtarāh, this vision unfolds alongside elrow in a thematic constructed from the intelligence of matter, the spirits of the forest and a narrative of transformation that turns space into a living, ritual and sensory threshold.

Bhūtarāh, a living organism

At the heart of this universe is the Mother of the Forest, a monumental figure that embodies the soul of the world, merging body, roots and branches into a single entity. Around her, the Artemis Cats represent nourishment and abundance, while Kodama-inspired forest spirits inhabit the space as manifestations of balance and vital energy. The scenographic journey unfolds as an inner experience, where two colossal hands define the entrance to this realm: one offers protection and the other invites, guiding visitors through a sensory landscape that reflects emotional and collective transformation.
