Knowing how to detect a brilliant idea or reject a poor one can be the big difference that sets the style and direction of an agency. But ... what are the keys? There is no single formula ... we keep on talking with agencies, this time Raul Perez, executive creative director of Momentum, gives us his opinion.

Today the diversity of approaches we use to communicate and the use of different tools inspire us to get all our creative potential .

We are increasingly looking to expand our creative vision to each new project by including in the process different professionals from multidisciplinary areas.This way the final product is highly enriched .

Professionals of “creativity ” usually have in common curiosity, inspiration, innovation and a DNA which allows them to recognize which ideas have the conceptual shift that impacts the public, beyond the media or conventional formats .

The word habit means a person´s behavior repeated regularly, something that any individual who has a creative talent knows it does not work . The regularity in the behavior destroys the creative spontaneity .

Is brainstorming the king ? No, it is a tool for creation through co-working, but complements other ones very valuable too. I fear it has lost its flagship throne within the methodology of creation in communication.
