What is ‘NetZero Events’, the international commitment of the MICE industry? What do ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for events mean? Companies still far from defining sustainability targets in MICE
Just take a look at the reports that are published on Ibiza in recent years to realize the twist that is experiencing the most cheerful of the Mediterranean island. The other side of Ibiza, the quieter Ibiza, the serious side of Ibiza ... All echoes the evolution of this destination made to go beyond its legendary nightlife, and to extend its season to spring and autumn events.

It is essential to be aware of the assets that you have … and Ibiza has one unique: something like the world capital of clubbing life, the place where the top DJ made a name. So we will not deny that clubs, chillouts and waterfront nightlife remain the appeal of Ibiza.

But its attractions go far beyond: from a wide flights offer to the ease with which the authorities cooperate to events logistics organization, for example, cutting roads for car launches -very common in the island-, and a hotel and gastronomy which has risen in level in recent years. We tell you the last things you´ll find on the island for events…

Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza

Among the novelties on the island stands the new Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, which came from the hand of Fiesta hotels and offers 493 rooms, four restaurants, 600m2 for conventions and a terrace facing the sea. In a short time it has become an essential event space.

Events at sea: Ibiza Boat Club catamaran

Another new venue for corporate events is the Ibiza Boat Club catamaran, a boat for 380 people equipped with the latest technology in sound, lighting and projection. It features a conference room, suites, Blue bar and an outdoor terrace. On this, and on top, a large ´chill out´ VIP lounge. It has on-board catering service and various leisure activities.

Ride the wave

Surf House Ibiza is a new complex of over 3,000m2 where you can make water activities with large doses of adrenaline. Its main attraction is the Flowrider (artificial wave) where surfing, but also has Paddle Surf, Kayak, jet ski, Flyboard, Speed Boat … A restaurant with 100 seats, 40 Balinese beds and a beach volleyball court complete the offer.

During Fitur, Patricia Otal, director of meetings & events of Fiesta hotels, gave us some recommendations for taking the most of the island. She suggests set the date during long midseason and new air routes and opt for events in March, April, October and even November, when prices are more competitive and it can also enjoy outdoor events, having a quieter version the island.

Especially recommended to avoid opening and closing periods of the clubs, that is the end of May and early October, because there is so much movement that probably can not take care of our customer as it deserves.
