Three figures, three tricks for events: 300 days of sunshine a year, 7,000 years of history and two-hour flight from Spain. Not surprisingly, these islands located in the heart of the Mediterranean go upward.

There are many destinations that throughout the world can boast a wonderful climate, but only Malta can boast of being as the International Survey of Living Standards in the U.S. the best in the world. Its 300 days of sunshine a year make of it a preferred option for incentives during autumn or winter seasons.

To this you have to add its proximity,  with a couple of hours of flight we can stand on this destination. His third major asset is its rich and mysterious history, closely linked to the Knights of the Order of Malta, which has left a wealth of archaeological sites of the UNESCO World Heritage and a host of unique venues for organizing themed events.

Short distances

In addition, the distances are short and holding events at different points is easy. These compact dimensions also make the authorities to be open to putting facilities. It is feasible to organize such transfers from the airport VIP including limousines, Rolls Royce and even a police escort.

“You have all the amenities close by and in general you can do almost everything I ask, what makes a big difference,” says Javier. The distances are really small: The archipelago consists of three islands, Malta, Gozo and Comino, and the first one, by far the largest, has a size of 27km long by 14 wide.

Event spaces and hotels

Among many other venues for events, has the Mediterranean Conference Centre, housed in a XVI century building which served as a hospital for men. There are several places as emblematic as La Valletta Hall for up 900pax at dinner (3,000 for cocktails), or the Great Hall where they can store up to 1.400pax (4,000 for cocktails), plus the much more intimate room´s Cassiere for 80pax.

Another option is the Palazzo Falson. Located in Mdina and formerly known as ´The Norman House´, has just reopened after a total restoration. The building, s. XIII is one of the oldest in the city, and hosts events in 100pax dinner cocktail or 30.

The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spam, which was the first 5 * of the island, is located in the heart of the island, opposite the Presidential Palace, has three rooms for up to 500 delegates and receptions for up 650pax. The Corinthia Hotel St. George´s Bay in St Julian ´s, has rooms for up 550pax.

Pirates, treasures and sopranos

Malta is an ideal framework for a variety of activities that take advantage of its rich history and culture. We propose several:

Treasure Hunt. Maps, riddles, keys … the story of Malta and its large spaces with a mysterious past makes it perfect to organize a treasure hunt, etc. San Juan Cathedral is one of the most common scenarios for this, and there are several DMC offering such activities.

Dealing with the pirates at sea. Sailing on a Turkish gulet, enjoying a massage or a cocktail, is a must, but if you look really fun you can choose to involve the group in a mock battle between pirate ships and gentlemen.

In the Teatru Manoel a soprano can teach the basic techniques of singing group, or they can arrange a monologue laughing. This space can accommodate up to 300pax and can liven up the activity with a dinner, because it has a restaurant specializing in Sicilian cuisine.
