A Coruña celebrates its 800th anniversary in an American style

The agency Realizar organised, on the 22nd of November, ARTEC O8 / 800, an impactful event to celebrate the 800th birthday of the city of A Coruña and support the campaign to have the Hercules Tower as a World Heritage Site.
The event, which was distributed amongst various places in the city to maximise its impact, had its centre in María Pita square, where a transparent dome was set up for the actions. The American (specifically New York) style of the event consisted of graffiti doing their show in various parts of the city, and American police cars patrolling the city. Local musical bands also acted in the show.
