The night started at the LA Convention Center, where celebrities gathered to find out the winners of the Academy Awards for the Arts, Sciences and Television. After the applauses, the guests moved to the gala of Governors´ Ball, considered the largest sit-down gathering of people in the U.S., with about 3,600 guests, once again organised by the agency Sequoia.

The gala organisation advanced to the media that “colour” would be the theme of the decoration of this edition. And indeed, inspired by designer Tony Duquette and the concept of Xanadu, the staging grounds dressed in Middle East style, highlighting lime green, teal, purple and green. The slogan for this issue: forget the recession and use your imagination.
