Mercado de motores: a very vintage and original event

The Railway Museum , in the old station of Delicias , hosts this event between trains . The stalls of artisans and designers are placed between tracks and platforms along with a dining space with different food stalls (“tapas”, world cuisine , burgers , gintonics) to rest of the shopping day and enjoy concerts held between carriages.

An initiative to encourage decoration brands, clothing and design that are starting their business and which is based on an aesthetic and a very particular concept. You can feel it in the venue chosen which is the big claim to the public. It also responds very well with the style of the initiative: a vintage flea market held in an old station. It mixes the retro industrial in an environment with certain nostalgia .

We like it because it integrates leisure options, relaxation areas, outdoor and indoor spaces, live music , etc. . Even they organize workshops and activities for children : origami , learn hot to plant flowers, you can see the arrival of the Strawberry Train ( a vintage train between that runs the route between Aranjuez to Madrid) or even have a ride on a small scale steam train that runs the station.

An event for the whole family that integrates shopping, leisure, catering and whose main success is the uniqueness of place where it is held : in an old station.
