Observation: the majority of the furniture and materials used are reusable and recyclable (the two “r´s” of sustainability!). Other green details can be found in the catering or in the use of LEDS lighting. Let´s go on a green tour:
Ovation Global DMC (Stand: G700). With its strong black and pink branding, the stand has cardboard cubes which can be stacked up or moved around depending on the occasion: they serve as tables, chairs and shelves.
Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (Stand: H340). Built with wood and metal, they told us the same stand has been used over the last 10 years. It features wood from Switzerland´s sustainable woodlands, glass and LED lighting and screens.
Ultramar Event Management (Stand: N150). An interestingly creative use of pallets, cardboard and raffia. All communication is done electronically.
Slovenia (Stand: J650 y J800). Natural wood boxes that were used to transport fruits make up the stand, transmitting the feeling of an open square in Ljubljana.
Ecowall (Stand: H200). The entire stand is made of cardboard, from the wall panels to the furniture. Not only highly resistant, cardboard also allows you to personalize the stand by printing on it.
Grupo eventoplus (stand: M800). Another stand made of cardboard, this time with tubes painted in the company´s signature orange color. Stools of different sizes are also made from these tubes, with a piece of cork serving as the seat.
And of course, to make sustainability fun, Portugal has invented the “Estoril Green Quiz”, where you can not only find out how to be sustainable, but win prizes too!
