 In a field such as human resources, networking is particularly important. Therefore, the last edition of the International Congress of the Spanish Association of People Management and Development (AEDIPE) organized by Seproevents in Kinepolis Madrid, focused on promoting networking among nearly the 800 human resources specialists and encouraging their participation. We show you some of the ideas implemented in this event.

For this edition of the conference there was three objectives: the congress had to be memorable, relevant and participative. The effort focused on the quality of the speakers, providing good content, an obsession promote networking and make the congress a participative experience.

In terms of content and quality of the speakers, sessions were structured around four plenary sessions, with interventions such as guru Mike Walsh or Matti Hemmi, with another nine parallel sessions on specific topics with the participation of Marcos de Quinto, responsible for worldwide marketing for Coca-Cola; Rosa Garcia, president of Siemens Spain; Rosalia Portela, or Eduardo Dávila, CEO of AON.

Networking workshops to connect attendees

Along with this dose of good practice and experts inspiration, networking flowed not only in coffee breaks or during the official conference dinner, but also a portion of the program was devoted to networking sessions where ´elevator pitchs´ were held together with LinkedIn workshops to move comfortably and successfully in this professional social network.

A participative congress

Attendees were able to interact before and during the congress through the ´Action Tank´, through which they could express their concerns and challenges to different experts. In addition they were encouraged to leave their mark in this edition with commentaries and feedback on the ´Wall´ Congress.
