Nice Côte d’Azur Airport

Nice Côte d’Azur airport is 15 minutes from the city-centre. It now has a tram link from its 2 terminals and serves 120 direct destinations in 43 countries. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport welcomed more than 14 million passengers in 2019. Considering the environmental impact of its activities has led the Côte d’Azur Airports group to commit to a certification process in 2011. In 2016, Nice Côte d’Azur became the first French airport to obtain Level 3-level Neutral Carbon accreditation, the highest of the standards set by the Airport Carbon Accreditation.  A major expansion project is also being considered to provide more comfort to passengers, more numerous years after year.

 Hotel park

With 300 hotels and residences, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropole represents 1/3 of the hotel capacity of the Côte d’Azur, from the luxury hotel to the hostel through the boutique hotels, the offer of accommodation is varied and suitable for all types of clientele. The 3, 4 and 5 stars represent 80% of the accommodation capacity and the majority have additional meeting spaces at the Convention Centre. Most of Nice hotels for delegates are served by the tram. Some are in the immediate vicinity of the Congress Centre.

By 2021, hotel capacity will increase by 1,200 new rooms – 800 rooms in the Airport and Arena district, and more than 400 rooms in downtown Nice -. The establishments are modernizing with many beautification or renovation works. The Boscolo B4 Nice Park Hotel will be transformed into a Maison Albar 5-star hotel and the Boscolo Plaza Hotel will carry out major renovations before reopening as a 5-star hotel.

In the coming months, the openings will follow.  Hilton Garden Inn at Nice Thiers Station, Sheraton, Moxy by Marriott, B and B, Neo and Okko Hotel in the Grand Arenas district.
