World Heritage listed by UNESCO

The island has another place listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the Teide National Park, which is the most visited in Spain and one of the most visited in the world. In it is the highest elevation in Spain and the third largest volcano in the world from its base on the ocean floor, Teide. For its part, the Anaga Massif, due to its natural and ethnographic wealth, was classified as a Reserve of the Biosphere, also by UNESCO, on June 9, 2015.18​19​ It is the natural area with the greatest number of endemic species in Europe.

Maybe you like to see how your feet sink into the heat of the black sand while your wet skin dries in the sun. Perhaps you imagine yourself floating in a calm sea, diving between volcanic rock bottoms or doing your favorite sport on the waves…

Main attractions of the destination: El Teide, Carnival Cruz, or Playa de las Américas

Tenerife is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, off West Africa. It is dominated by Mount Teide, a dormant volcano that is the highest peak in Spain. Tenerife is known for the Carnival of Santa Cruz, a huge pre-Lenten festival with parades, music, dance and colorful costumes. The island has many beaches (with sands that vary from yellow to black) and resort areas, including Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas.
