On the occasion of Juvé & Camps’ centenary, Juvé & Camps – Spain’s undisputed leader in Premium cava – opens its doors to the public with an exclusive wine tourism project aimed at limited private groups. Juvé & Camps has two unique cellars in the region, both with exceptional architecture, suitable for the different winemaking processes. The cellars, located in the center of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, date back to 1921, with six floors of subway tunnels that house the aging of the cavas in rhyme. Here the second fermentation takes place by the traditional champenoise method, bottles maturing slowly until the time of shipment Just five kilometers from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia is the Espiells winery, an impressive architectural ensemble surrounded by vineyards, in the Bordeaux chateau style. The building, with its minimalist aesthetics and ample, perfectly conditioned spaces, houses all the winemaking processes and produces the still wines Propiedad de Espiells and all the base wine for the production of cava in Sant Sadurní. Around it there are 270 hectares of organic vineyards, planted in the most renowned wine-growing areas of the Penedès, in the lap of Montserrat, the mountain that presides over the wine-growing region and protects it from the cold winds from the north. Old vines, full of history at an altitude between 180 and 245 meters.
