The Italian Pavilion is the largest and highest open space in the city centre (2,400m2 and 14m high). It is located in a privileged location, right in front of the emblematic Magic Fountain of Montjuc, the work of the architect Carles Buágas 1929, with its popular show of water, light and music; barcelona at an international level.
The environment formed by the Montjuc Park, the work of the architect Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier, on the one hand, and the majestic historical-monumental ensemble of the 1929 Barcelona World’s Fair – the National Palace and the Victoria Eugenia Palaces and Alfonso XIII- on the other hand, implies that it is a privileged and singular space.
