Awards ceremony, trade show and conference: the fifth edition of expoeventos ends in Portugal

The main meeting point of the events and meetings industry in Portugal took place for the fifth time, in Lisboa (Pavilhão Atlântico) from 29th to 31st January. The main content was the conferece "Gest", a good opportunity to take the pulse of the market and exchange experiences.

Presentations covered topics such as “trends in the industry”, “green meetings”, “education in the industry” or “international associations in the meetings sector”, with speakers such as Linda Pereira, Guy Bigwood from MCI, Pedro Rocha from Centro de Congressos do Estoril, Jonatan Gomez from Invent Meetings, Rui Ochôa (Festas & Eventos), Cristina Moura (Butterfly Comunicação), Tânia Trevisan (Trevisan Publicidade), and Eric Mottard (Grupo eventoplus).

The award ceremony main winner were the Estoril Open (by Lagos Sports) and mainly Desafio Global, winner of six awards plus the one of “best event agency”.
