Barcelona to host the SITE International Conference in 2006

SITE, the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives, has opted for Barcelona to hold its international conference in 2006. The event will be held in conjunction with EIBTM, from 28 November to 3 December at the Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel, whose Marketing Director, Mr Bill Fontgivell is a SITE member since 1980.

The Barcelona Convention Bureau coordinated, promoted and presented the candidancy in the last IMEX show in Frankfurt. In the same city where a Spanish chapter of SITE was held and attended by 33 members from Spain. In the meeting, it was approved that Ana Maria Eichler, General Director of the Creatur agency in Madrid and the oldest member from Spain, will be the President of the Chapter, which she would like to give an important boost, as well as to strengthen the support of new members to SITE in our country.
