Conventa 2025 prepares for an edition with new buyers and offline visits to destinations

Conventa stands out for promoting knowledge of the sector in terms of its educational capacity and impact on communities. Through the tool introduced in previous editions, Planet Positive Event, they will share with attendees a range of knowledge to transform events into tools for environmental and legacy change.
The programme will include a series of activities such as pre-fair visits to various destinations (Bled and Radovljica, Kranjska Gora, Portorož and Piran, Rimske Toplice and Celje, Sofia in Slovenia), as well as four post-fair fam trips (to Belgrade, Ljubljana, Nova Gorica and Zagreb) organised by Conventa.
‘As official organisers, we are immensely proud to have delivered on our promise and brought 81% of new hosted buyers to Conventa. When we organised our first Conventa, we promised our exhibitors to bring 70% new hosted buyers every year. Our promise means that we welcome 1.7 buyers per exhibitor. We have been organising our event for seventeen years and in all that time, I have not found an event in the world that promises anything like this,’ stresses Gorazd Čad, co-founder of Conventa. The hosted buyers come mainly from Germany, the UK, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.
