The Conference centre operator, Dolce International has created a section (http://www.dolce.com/meetings) on its website for planners that includes tools and resources. The tools include a pricing comparison calculator that a planner can compare prices and packages from different hotels, conference centre and resorts to determine the best value, a space calculator to determine proper meeting room size, recommendation on various room-setup table configurations, a currency converter, and a metres-to-feet converter. Planners can also search for venue details and send requests for proposals to Dolce’s 26 properties.

The new area also includes best-practice cases studies, a forum for expert advice, and selected articles from publications owned by VNU Business Media, including MeetingNews and Successful Meetings. A handbook with planning tips will be published soon.

“The easy navigation and extensive information available should make this website an invaluable tool in a planner’s day-to-day activities,” said Dolce president Steve Giblin. “We are committed to providing the world’s best meeting experience to our customers. Part of that experience includes how we satisfy customers’ needs for information via the Internet.”
