Finnair expands its route network and connect via Helsinki from February to five Australian destinations: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, Finnair and Qantas airline, both belonging to the oneworld alliance, star the codeshare fly.

Currently the airline already flies from Spain, via Helsinki, to nine destinations in Asia: daily to Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Delhi and Bangkok, six times a week to Seoul and Osaka, and five times per week to the city Nagoya Japanese. In fact, Finnair´s Asian traffic grew by 8% in 2010 due to increased demand, which reinforces the tendency push as markets and destinations of  some emerging countries (BRIC).
