The alliance was designed exclusively for women event owners and leaders in both corporate and association environments. It aims to create a specific, strategic and intergenerational space where women can collaborate, grow and influence the future of the events, marketing, communication, experience and tourism sectors.
A different model in a landscape saturated with associations
EVA Alliance wants to break with the usual inertia of traditional associations, which bring together a mix of segments (clients, suppliers, agencies, venues, destinations), which, they believe, makes it difficult to create an aligned lead agency. For this reason, EVA is created as an impact community composed of women who design, approve and lead event strategies, ensuring strategic alignment.
Other differences of the EVA model are its funding: it is a non-profit association, with no membership fees, no sponsorships giving access to member data, no commercial monetization of the community and funded exclusively through project-based collaborations and donations.
“Our industry has incredible partnerships, but there was no global, non-profit, intergenerational platform focused specifically on women who organize and run events. EVA was created to complement the ecosystem,” says Angeles Moreno, co-founder and president of EVA Alliance.
The new advisory committee is composed of: Beatriz Aparicio Altamirano – BeiGene | Emma Barry – BKR International | Stephanie Dubois – SAP | Stefanie Winter – Siemens | Thays Marques – The Coca-Cola Company | Jennifer Papenfuss – Just Planning.
The objectives of the new committee to be developed over the course of 2026
– Global intergenerational leadership programs with the “30 under 30” program.
– Roundtables on innovation, sustainability, AI and experience strategy.
– Talent accelerators and visibility platforms.
– International meetings in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
– Collaborative projects that support women’s leadership in all sectors.
