EXPOCOTS launches ICI, the new event of the MICE sector in Milan

On the 4th and 5th of October 2006, Fiera Milano, the new exhibition facility in Milan, will host the first edition of ICI – International Congress & Incentive Market Place, organised by EXPOCOTS, company who manages BIT in Milan.
ICI is a new meeting point for providers, buyers, intermediaries, event organisers and other groups of interest in the MICE sector. The meetings which will take place in the exhibition will be arranged through the EXPO Matching Programme, a software for the organisation of appointments between providers and buyers.
ICI will be visited by a group of buyers, who will be selected according to the Hosted Buyer Programme, and will have the participation of nearly 500 professional companies worldwide, which include incoming tourism agencies, hotel chains and independent hotels, incentive companies, conference and exhibition centres and national and local tourism offices, among others.
EXPOCOTS has launched a process to attract buyers in the main European markets -Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, United Kingdom and Switzerland- as well as in emerging markets, such as China, India and the Euro-Mediterranean area.
