FITUR CONGRESOS 2005, the Incentives and Meetings Trade Fair, starts its sixth edition. The work shop, meeting point for the Spanish offer and the international demand for meetings organises an intense agenda of pre-established meetings, will take place during the 24th and 25th of January 2005, just before the eve of the special FITUR 25th Anniversary edition (26th to 30th of January, in Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I in Madrid).

A convocation that returns to the tradeshow panorama with the firm bet of the new team of the Industrial, Commerce and Tourism Ministry, represented by the Turespaña, with this show.

One of the main objectives of the organisers of FITUR Congresos continues to be deepening the elevating level of the professionals. Other line of action is to find new emerging markets of interests, to attract buyers from South Africa and Japan. The markets that are mature and have the usual presence in FITUR Congresos are the Europeans, the Americans and Latin Americans.

During the days of 22nd and 23rd of January, with an optional character, the foreign buyers can get to know the offers of the autonomous communities organised by the best destinations for congresses.

The profile of the visitors to FITUR Congresses is represented by travel agencies, incentive houses, convention centres and congress halls, convention bureaux, hotels, professional organisers of congresses, conventions and meetings (PCOs), official institutions, associations of tourism, transportation, complementary services providers and others. In terms of demand, it is based on specialised travel agencies and incentive houses.

In addition, parallel to the workshop, will be an exhibition area with some of the best Spanish offers for meetings in the same pavilion.
