The hotels will customize their services and communicate more with their guests if they want to survive the turbulent decade to come: at least, according to a report prepared for the independent consultant Fast Future Research for Amadeus.

The report notes that traditional customer segmentation in the hotel industry has come to an end and will be replaced by a segmentation based on a wide range of services.

Much more communication with the customer

This radical change has several implications. The main one is that hotels will have to customize their services, contact  their guests and communicate with them according to their preferences and personal conduct to maintain its market position.
