The American chain Hyatt will open in Casares end of 2007, the Doña Julia Hotel, the only luxurious hotel that it will manage in the Andalusian coast, located in the hillside of a mountain and will have the design of a Andalusian village.

The five-star hotel will have 150 rooms, according to the company Evemarina in Paris, which will invest one hundred million Euro in the project. The complex will be located in a land of more than six hundred hectares, which will include three 18-hole golf courses, an international golf school, three football fields, two hotels and 6,000 apartments. In addition, it will create three hundred direct jobs, plus the employment during the construction phase of the facilities, such as convention rooms and a swimming pool with more than 2,000 square metres. The promoters hope that the hotel will break-even in 2011, with an occupation around 67 percent, and will receive clients mainly from Germany, the United States, United Kingdom and Spain. Of the 150 rooms, twenty will be junior suites, seven senior suites and the average price per room per night will be 416 Euros.
