José Luiz Moreira, the 53 year-old Portuguese, is the new General Director of the five-star Corinthia Alfa Hotel in Lisbon. He brings with him a wide experience in the hotel world, who was the General Director of the Caesar Park Penha Longha Hotel and Golf Resort in Cinta, Portugal. Also, he was the Vice-President of Operation for Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Cancun and Buenos Aires with the same company. Before that, he was the Regional Director of the Crown Plaza in the United States and Brazil.
The hotel has recently renovated all its 517 rooms and facilities, and is positioned as the main hotel for meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) in Lisbon.
The Corinthia Alfa Hotel belongs to the International Hotel Investments and is managed by Corinthia Hotels International and represented in the distribution systems by “Worldhotels” in the world.
