What is ‘NetZero Events’, the international commitment of the MICE industry? What do ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for events mean? Companies still far from defining sustainability targets in MICE
From 28 February to 2 March, Malaga will host the European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC), which promises to be an inspiring event with a programme designed to help event professionals overcome the economic scenario of the new decade.

Organised by Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the EMEC 2010 will offer nontraditional sessions and various presentations by experts (more than half the speakers are new this year), designed to provide tools to improve directly on events and business strategies.

The sessions will focus on topics such as the struggle for public attention by Graham Davies (Content Ltd), sustainability in COP 15, by Guy Bigwood (MCI Communication Spain); the next generation in events by Johan Johansson (Fivestarday); or sustainability into practice by Jan Peter Bergkvist of (SleepWell AB).

Attendees at EMEC 2010, which will be held at the Palacio de Ferias in Malaga, will also attend the opening reception, a tapas tour, a party at the Lyceum of the old town and the closing party at the Plaza de Toros (bullfighting arena) of Malaga. An attendance of 400 is expected, from across Europe, Middle East and the USA, including PCOs, corporate event planners, associations, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the sector.
