The Hotel Group Mandarin Oriental will manage a new luxury hotel in Barcelona, with the aim to expand their brand in Europe and in one of its main tourist destinations.

Placed in Paseo de Gracia, Mandarin Oriental Barcelona will be located in a mid-20th century building, and will have 144 bedrooms, 52 of which will be suites, all equipped with state-of-the-art client service technology and leisure systems. Its opening is planned for the end of 2007.

The hotel will also include a spa and a swimming pool in the terrace roof, as well as restaurants and bars with an eclectic Mediterranean cuisine, which will also be served in the 1,400 sqm outdoor terrace.
