The city hall of Marbella and the Hotel Puente Romano in the same city will sponsor over the next three years, the Nations Senior Cup tennis tournament, led by Emilio Sánchez-Vicario and whose objective is, in addition to offer the highest quality tennis (all its participants are elite tennis players, winners of world-class tournaments), and also to allow the public to enjoy multiples leisure and sports activities with the famous players.
Apart from the city hall and the hotel, the tournament also has the sponsorship of companies such as: Motorola, Alfa Romeo, Lacoste, Inmobiliaria Espacio, Grupo Prasa, Avis, American Airlines, Yorklyn Finance, AVE, JC Decaux.

The companies and entities collaborating will not only get high visiibility through this sponsorship, but also have the opportunity to invite their clients, potential clients and strategic partners to participate in the activities developed in parallel to the tennis matches, such as pro-ams tennis, golf tournament among the players and the guests, the parties and the dinners, all with the company of the participating players. For this reason, it has been converted to a different and efficient alternative in loyalty building activities for many large companies. For example, the previous edition had an investment of 1,850,000 euros

The tournament has the official recognition of the International Tennis Federations (ITF) and the Real Federación Española de Tenis; with professional players with more than 30 years old divided into four teams that represent Spain, Germany, United States and Russia. In addition, quality tennis will be offered by players such as Boris Becker, Jim Courier o Emilio Sánchez Vicario.
