Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has announced the appointment of Paul Kennedy as the new Exhibition Director of the European Incentives Business Travel and Meetings (EIBTM) show, which takes place in Barcelona from November 30 to December 2.

Paul Kennedy, formerly managing director at the Commonwealth Conference and Events Centre in London, and is an international board member of MPI as well as chairman of the UK Meetings Industry Association (MIA), replaces Debbie Jackson who will now head up an as yet undisclosed project within RTE. He will work alongside Jackson until the 2004 show and will also oversee the other events in the RTE portfolio including the Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo and the Latin America and Caribbean Incentive & Meetings Exhibition.
