What is ‘NetZero Events’, the international commitment of the MICE industry? What do ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for events mean? Companies still far from defining sustainability targets in MICE
The non-profit organisation Food & Water Watch launched a campaign against the use of bottled water in events. With the name "Take Back the Tap", the program seeks to inform events planners, catering and consumers about the benefits of tap water.

The central event of the campaign was Slow Food Nation, an event by Slow Food USA, an organisation that advocates sustainable and healthy food. At the opening of the event, tap water was served.

In addition to participation in this event, Food & Water Watch has developed the guide “Free Your Event from Bottled Water”. This publication includes tips for organizing events that do not generate thousands of plastic bottles, pointing out the health, economic and especially environmental benefits.

An interesting path to follow if you´re looking for a touch of green to your event… and if the water quality of your city allows trying it!
