The Asociación Española de Agencias de Eventos (AEAE- Spanish association of event agencies) was present in the second edition of the alternative media for Advertising show, Promotrade, which was held from 2nd to 4th of June 2004 in Valencia. On the 3th of June, the AEAE held a round table session with the presence of more than fifty persons in marketing management position. The session was moderated by Juanjo Duelo from Business and Creativities, where Carlos Castre from Euphon Events, Josep Rodón from Esfera Comunicación, Yolanda Torres from Equipo Singaular and Aleksandra Trampus from Grupo Worldspan also participated.

It presented the strategic component and the necessary definition of objectives, as well as the posterior evaluation of results. Other themes discussed in detail was the necessary complementary between advertising and the management of events.

Carlos Clastre centred in how to orchestra the management of the event in the marketing plan of a company. Aleksandra Trampus contributed data on the current situation of the Spanish event market in comparision with the strategic lines that are in the European market. Yolanda Torres made a special emphasis on the valuation of an event and Josep Rodón presented the objectives and the economic return for a client in the management of an event.
