The Asociacion Hispano Japonesa de Turismo (AHJT), invited by Turismo Andaluz, has partipcated in some promotional sessions on the Andalusian and Spanish tourism in Osaka and Tokyo.

The objective with this series of events, was to strengthen the sales of the tourism resources in Spain in the Japanese market and to incentivise the travel agencies and tour operators with new destinations to increase the number of Japanese tourists to Spain and Andalusia.

Previously, the delegation of the Association attended the tourism show JATA 2004, which was held in Tokyo. This show is the most important tourism show in Asia with forecasts of more than 90,000 visitors, of which more than 30% are professionals.

The Association, that bring together a collective of tourism companies from all the sectors specialising in the Japanese market to form new developments that allow the strengthening the Japanese tourism to Spain as well as to improve the image of Spain as a tourist destination.
