The Campo de las Naciones has implemented the management system, SAP, in its R/3 version, that provides a qualitative leap in the modernisation and improvement of its business process. In its first phase, this technology will cover the economic-financial control, as web as the management and planning of its services and human resources. The system, implemented for the first time in an organisation of the Ayuntamiento de Madrid, is an efficient tool to widen the functionality of the current management systems developed in the Palacio Municipal de Congresos and the Recinto Ferial Casa de Campo.

With this implemented, the Campo de las Naciones will be the pioneer in the application of a management system that facilitates the work and manage an useful information for the suitable control of the company. During 2005, it will develop the second phase of the SAP R/3 that will provide for the integration of the sales activity, which will be the end of the process.

This change assumed by the Campo de las Naciones, in addition to significatively improve the efficiency of the administrative proceses and to reduce the closing period of the financial states, will facilitate the decisión making at any level, thanks to the obtaining of information in a quick and simple way and will have repercussions in the quality processes.
