The Donostia-San Sebastian Convention Bureau receives the OPC España award

The Spanish Federation of Professional Congress Organisers has awarded the Donostia-San Sebastián Convention Bureau with OPC España award for “its deserved recognition in its professionalism”.

The Convention Bureau is the only entity from Guipuzcoa that received this award. The award was conceived by the professional congress organisers in the Basque country that presented the candidancy of the convention bureau to the jury of the Federation.

“For its success in attracting congresses and conventions for Guipuzcoa, for the proximity of the entity to the PCOs, for its efficiency to promoters and organisers, and in general, for the campaign that was just done to make San Sebastian and Guipuzcoa a strong destination for professional tourism”, are among some of the reasons that the award was given.

The award presentation will take place in February next year in Jerez de la Frontera, where the XVIII National Meeting of the Spanish Federation of Professional Congress Organisers will be held.
