The presentation event will take place on the 29th of July during the celebration of IV Nit of the Girona Convention Bureau and will be held during the XIX Festival Castell de Peralada.

The GCB Awards recognises and encourages the task of promotion and innovation of the companies dedicated to tourism, that with its effort, contribute to push the economic activity and the attraction of meetings in the municipalities in Girona.

Six different categories will be awarded to: Congress centres or independent venues, Hotels, Gastronomy, Complementary services companies , Activities companies and also a special jury award. As a tradition, the presentation will be held in the same place during the dinner of the IV Nit of the Girona Convention Bureau.

The Noche del Girona Convention Bureau, organised for the fourth time, will be held on Friday, 29th July. The event will bring together business representatives from the tourism sector, companies that provide complementary service and congress organisers, together with one of the shows of the Festival del Castell de Peralada and a dinner in one of its ballroom which will end with the award presentation.

This year, the show will be a lyrical gala with the participation of the soprano, Maria Guleghina, the tenor, Jaume Aragall and the baritone, Joan Pons, who will perform aries and duets of opera and Spanish light opera accompanied by the Symphonic Orchestra of Barcelona and National de Catalunya (OBC), under the musical direction of Marco Armiliato.
