The Glasgow Model is a new initiative launched by the Scottisch Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) and the Galsgow City Marketing Bureau (GCMB), based in a very simple philosophy: the agencies will share the risks with event organisers.

“Such a joint venture means that the city itself will be parte of the effords to attract an event, while also committing to bearing part of the cost, should fewer delegates ultimately attend the event” explains Ben Goedebuure, Director of Sales.
