The MPI barometer points to a continued improvement in the market situation

Like every two months, the association published its survey of leading professionals, which gives a good view of the market situation. This issue stressed a continued improvement in business conditions, although with a slower rhythm of improvement. And the situation is better in the USA than in Europe, especially concerned after the budget cuts by EU members
According to the survey, the following conclusions can be drawn:
– Overall business conditions continue to improve, but more slowly.
– Financial problems in the European Union are being felt, and are voiced by several European respondents.
– Domestic associations lead in net activity increase.
– Shorter lead times are the top concern of meeting and event professionals.
– Net employment in the meeting and event industry is increasing.
– Meeting attendance is improving.
